In Central Florida is a large forest area. The Ocala National Forest has several hot springs. Campgrounds, hiking trails and picnic areas are often used by nature lovers.

Sanibel Iceland is an attraction for many tourists. Long sandy beaches with countless shells are the hallmark of this island.

At the end of the Volusia Bar Road, south of Lake George is a marina with a fish camp near St. Johns River. (Unfortunately at befinning of 2009 it was closed.)
